Variety:
- Red Lady (Zones 9-11)
Care Instructions
In general, papaya trees should be planted in full sun and watered frequently for best growth and fruit production. Papaya plants grow and fruit well in well-drained soil types. Any climatic factor such as cool or cold temperatures, lack of water, high constant winds, or shade will reduce papaya growth and production. We suggest to keep your plant potted in a 10″ container so that it can be brought indoors when temperatures drop below 40°F.
