Type: Tree

A rose tree isn’t actually a tree at all. It’s a grafting process that allows a rose bush to grow like a tree! Rose trees are magnificent garden plants that can be used to add height to a border and look particularly impressive when planted closely together in groups of 3 or 4. It’s also a perfect container plant for those who want roses without the yard work.

Rose trees require at least 5-6 hours of full, direct sunlight per day. Newly planted rose trees require regular watering until established. Water deeply when you plant it and whenever the top 3 inches of soil are dry to encourage deep roots. Hardiness zones range from 5-9.
