Asiatic Lily

The Asiatic lily is the earliest flowering variety of lily. When summer heat kicks in, you can rely on these drought-resistant, stately plants to hold their own and still produce beautiful blooms and foliage that return year after year.

A well-drained soil is essential for the proper growth of lilies. For Asiatic hybrids, the pH of the soil should be maintained at 6.5. A bright, indirectly lit room where daytime temperatures range from 60-65°F is ideal. Water thoroughly when the surface soil is just beginning to feel dry, allowing the pot to drain at the sink. Remove flowers as they fade. Hardiness zones range from 4-9.
