First Editions® Little Hottie® Hydrangea may be compact, but it makes a big impression with abundant blooms that emerge creamy white and mature to soft pink. Its tidy habit, strong stems, and long lasting flowers make it an easy favorite for landscapes, patios, and garden beds.

Light: Plant your hydrangea in a location that receives at least 6 hours of sun each day. Full sun is ideal in cooler climates, while afternoon shade is beneficial in hotter regions to help keep blooms looking their best.

Water: Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a strong root system. Once established, keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, providing supplemental water during hot or dry periods.

Fertilizer: Feed in early spring with a balanced, slow release fertilizer formulated for flowering shrubs to encourage healthy growth and abundant blooms.

Pruning: Prune in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Little Hottie® blooms on new wood, so annual pruning encourages vigorous growth and larger flower displays without sacrificing blooms.

Cold Hardiness: Hardy in USDA Zones 3–8. This hydrangea is exceptionally cold-hardy and returns each year with beautiful white blooms that mature to soft pink as the season progresses.
