Kiwi is a compact, deciduous climber that produces tasty, smooth-skinned, attractive fruits. The fruit is exceptionally flavorful and is slightly sweeter than grocery store varieties.

Variety:

  • Prolific (Zones 4-8)

The prime requirements for kiwis are adequate drainage and ample water. Kiwis prefer an area that gets full sun and well-drained soil in order to be able to produce fruit. Water is key for kiwis to bear their heavy crops, but it is important to not let the soil get waterlogged. Prune your hardy kiwi vine to enhance the production of fruit.
