Gerbera Daisy
A gerbera daisy is instantly recognizable for its vivid colors and bold silhouettes. They’re one of the most popular choices for cut flowers in the world but instead of buying a bouquet, get even more blooms for your buck when you grow them at home.
Note: Just like nature, color is unpredictable! Hue selection is not an option, and only based on availability.
Care Instructions
Plant gerbera daises in an area that receives morning sun and light afternoon shade, and keep the soil evenly moist throughout the summer blooming season. When watering, avoid letting water settle on the leaves or crown, as this can encourage rot, and let the water drain freely through the pot. Deadhead frequently to encourage more flowers, and remove dead or damaged leaves regularly. Hardiness zones range from 8-11.
